It's no lie, tents can fly!
I have had a booth at the folk festival for
31 years. It has been a great place to be in late August. I
met a lot of great people, made a bunch of money, and had a great time doing it.
The music has always been great. My hat (wizard hat) goes off to many of
the volunteers who really work hard to make this festival possible.
I won't be able to make to
the Philadelphia Folk Festival this year. Unfortunately, expenses have
been going up for art shows and income has been coming down. I don't think
this is true just for me. I have many friends in the craft business who
think the same. So when the chance came along to take a job, I did.
Well, there comes a time for change. I'm glad I've had the chance to
create this fantasy which the folk festival has been a very big part of.
So, to all my friends and long time customers I send my best wishes and hope you
have a great festival this year. I 'd love to hear from you.
If all goes well, maybe I will see you next year.
